SolarWorld´s Sunmodules with 36/72 polycrystaline or monocrystaline silicon solar cells and SolarWorld´s Sunmodules plus with 60 polycrystaline cells are produced under German quality standards. These panels have a linear performance guarantee. The smaller panels are manufactured for stand-alone systems including rural electrification, water pumping, telemetry, communications and general battery charging. The bigger panels are used for grid connected systems, using MPPT charge controllers for operating DC loads directly or, in an inverter equipped stand-alone systems, for operating AC loads.
